Having the opportunity to wear the maple leaf and pursue my Olympic goal, is an opportunity of a lifetime! To-date, I have been able to successfully manage my personal finances to self-fund most of my skeleton career. However, the costs this upcoming season go well beyond ‘breaking even’.

My goal for this year is to earn a spot on Canada’s 2022 Winter Olympic team.  The competition, travel, training and equipment expenses to achieve this goal is in excess of $30,000. The sport of skeleton receives very little government funding, leaving athletes like myself to cover near-100% of the expenses to train, travel and compete. All proceeds raised through donations and sponsorships go directly towards helping me achieve my Olympic goal!
