Going for Gold. Head First. No Regrets.

I am a Canadian National skeleton racer trying to bring home gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics. My speed-demon side is balanced out by a professional career in corporate Calgary. Through my journey, I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams.

I think a sliding sport was always in my destiny, as I was twice offered the chance to try the sport of Luge growing up. In 2007 at the suggestion of a friend, I finally threw myself down the icy track on a skeleton sled and loved it from the first curve!

Just like motor racing; in skeleton it doesn’t matter how good of a driver you are, if your sled is an old beater. This is why brands like McLaren, BMW and Ferrari have partnered with sliding organizations to design and build sleds.

Equipment is minimal in the sport of skeleton, consisting of a sled, helmet, spikes, runners (i.e. blades) and a suit. These items are challenging to find due to limited suppliers who are mostly located in Europe, and each item generally comes with a premium price tag.
